Help MCV Green Unity Raise Funds for a Sustainable Future

MCV Green Unity is selling t-shirts and aluminum water bottles to fundraise towards their efforts to help VCU and Richmond go green! You can also help us by donating your empty ink jet cartridges and old cell phones, see below. Thanks in advance for helping us further the dream of a greener future!

T-Shirts $10

T-Shirts are printed on 69% recycled cotton by a local company, Action T-Shirts. The logo is printed in light green on a grey t-shirt as shown on the right. There are currently two options for purchasing T-shirts:

By cash in person at MCV Green Unity general meetings or events (next event 12-12:30pm, December 1, 2010, Room 114, MCV Alumni House)

By credit card, securely through PayPal, with pick-up instructions via email. Pick-up will be available on MCV campus, with specific instructions to follow through email.

Aluminum Water Bottles $10 (Pre-Order)

These aluminum water bottles are BPA free, made from 100% tested and FDA approved materials. Carabiner attaches to twist-on cap (carabiner key chain included FREE). The logo is printed in white on a grass-green bottle. Image shown right is an approximation of what bottle with logo will look like.

We are currently taking pre-paid pre-orders for these aluminum water bottles. You can place your order securely through PayPal here. This means that after paying you will receive your water bottle in 1-3 months, as soon as we have taken enough pre-orders to cover the base cost of the order (so MCV Green Unity won't have to pay upfront out of pocket). We appreciate your understanding and patience in waiting  for your bottle order and helping us minimize personal costs.

Ink Jet Cartridge and Cell Phone Fundraiser

You can also help us fundraise by collecting ink jet cartridges and old cell phones (working or not) from your home, office, or school. Email us for more information and/or for a free cartridge collection container. Or you can drop them off at our current collection sites in Sanger Hall (1101 E Marshall St.) near the main elevators on floors B1, 2-9, 11-12. All items are collected through Planet Green Recycling to be either re-manufactured and reused, or are recycled responsibly. Also, by purchasing re-manufactured ink jet cartridges from Planet Green you will not only save yourself money, but 15% of the purchase price will be donated to MCV Green Unity.
