Green Affairs Wants Your Enthusiasm and Ideas!

MCV Green Affairs focuses on making MCV campus at VCU and the Richmond community greener through service and education. This student-led organization welcome students, faculty, and staff, from all schools and disciplines, both medical and academic from either campus, as well as Richmond community members to help us pursue our goals of educational outreach, increased recycling access, improved sustainable practices and policies at VCU, and community outreach. First MCV Green Unity General Meeting

MCV Green Unity at VCU in Richmond, VA is holding it's first general meeting this Friday.

Are you interested in making your department, floor, building, or MCV greener?

Want to learn simple tips to live more sustainably?

Have any sustainability concerns or ideas, and don't know how to get started?

Come out to our meeting for the answer to these questions and more. Free refreshments will be provided. We will be recruiting EcoReps - members of the VCU community that want to take ownership of their own little part of VCU and make it greener. We are also looking for board members wanting to be a part of MCV Green Unity. There will be a short presentation with general information, and an outline of MCV Green Unity plans for 2010-2011.
